Coach Sean Kingswell

“A good coach focuses on the client, while unlocking their potential through motivation, inspiration and facilitation. Quality coaching comes from credentials, science, experience, effective communication, leading by example and by admitting and passing on the coaches own life lessons.” – Sean

“As an athlete my whole life and firefighter for 20 years I have seen the effects our society’s cultural ideal of manliness, where strength is everything while emotions are a weakness; can have on young men and our communities as a whole. My career has introduced me to some of the most heroic and brave people in the world while providing me with an equally impactful view of the darker side of humanity. I see how a career in the front line emergency service takes its toll and I have witnessed close friends and brothers begin to change and harden. Now as a Deputy Fire Chief I have the privilege and duty to hire our recruit firefighters. A comprehensive program like this one will help prepare our young men to be men of character with the resilience and tools to succeed in anything they do”
Rob M. Fire Chief and Wellness Advocate
